What or Who is a Fuzzytek?
Thanks for dropping by to check on what the heck is a Fuzzytek.
In 1998 I self adopted/created the pseudonym as descriptive way to say that I've gone through a lot of technology. My education includes a BS Computer Science from WSU in 1983 and a MS in Business Information Technology from Walsh College in 2005. (No I wasn't a child when I got my BS degree.) I began work as a consultant fresh out of college with Symcon and was programming a revised Unemployment Benefits system at the MESC along side a technical team from Arthur Anderson. From there I eventually ended up at Blue Cross Blue Shield in a computer operations analysis area, then programming, then desktop platform standards for the corporation, then left to work for my parent's wholesale business, returned to BCBSM as operations consultant during their Y2K conversion, then hired in for programming, then into the data quality area for corporate data warehouse support.
In 2002 I began looking at life with a different perspective after completing the Landmark Forum and numerous courses through Landmark Education. In 2004 out of frustration of looking at what was the impression I was leaving in the world working for BCBSM I ended up fired. What was missing was passion for living and contributing in a meaningful way.
Creative passion is what spurred Fuzzytek Photography. I've worked through numerous nightlife events, shot at festivals, fashion shows, and indie film projects. I've assisted models, actors, and peers in expanding their portfolio, making connections and developing community.
Thee days you'll find me working on websites that have some photographic interest, events with fashion elements, and spurring on communities through social networking both online and live.
